What I have Learned from 2020

 

WHAT I HAVE LEARNED FROM 2020

This year, we all faced a lot of problems and learnt a lot of new things. When 2020 started, it had been a great turning point of my life. Preparations for studies were on, finally exams came and I had put all my efforts in that. With the end of examinations, LOCKDOWN had started. Never thought that everyone had to stay at their home without their own interest. This year I observed that a human can become lazy but the real importance of work can be understood by him only when he has to stay home without his own interest.

During pandemic, I had two choices – one is getting stressed, and another is to learn new things. I used to choose second option. It was difficult to control on my mind for not taking stress but then also, I had to deal with it. Many of us finding this year, a worst year. Maybe it was, because we lost many of our brothers and sisters during pandemic, many passed away just because of depression, many had lost their family, many had lost their jobs and faced many more problems. But we have to Thank God for our survival, we have to Thank the Real Heroes of our Countries (DOCTORS AND POLICEMEN), who were always there for our safety.

Besides this, it was the best memorable year for me. It was the only special year for me till now. If I would not stay at home during that lockdown then I would be unable to connect myself with my family, I would never realize the importance of life, I would never be able to search my hobbies, my interests, my future goals, my spirit, my strengths, my weaknesses and the main thing is I would not be able to find MYSELF.

When we say that we have to capture only positive things then why to see all the negative things in this year. It had snatched many things from us, but apart from that this 2020 had given us more than what it took from us. By looking at it’s positive points I forgot it’s negative points.

All things were online. I learnt a lot of new things for handling electronic devices, I become friendly with that things which I never tried before- WRITING. Today, it has become my passion. Motivation comes from within when you become the owner of your mind and heart and I get motivated by my own writing. I understood one thing, we have to target only those things which we can do. I made myself able for searching my spirit.

I was becoming sad in my past because I was thinking much of my surrounding but I am happy today and I will be happy tomorrow as well, because I needed a time for myself to know my reality- what I am and what I want to be? I got the answer of all my questions. With the year end, I came to know, what I have to bring to an end. It means I will try to convert all weaknesses into strengths and negativity into positivity. Hope this New year will bring negativity to an end. Wake up with a new positive energy in this new year and ALWAYS THANK TO GOD for this beautiful life and for whatever we have.

A big Thanks to my parents, all my teachers, all my dearest friends, all my elders and special thanks to all of you who are reading this, who actually made me realized that real Prerna ki Prerna is within this Prerna.

PERIODS

 Today, we are living in 21^st century, where science teaches us about the process of reproduction in standard 10^th, this is just for spreading the awareness among all the people of society. But how much awareness is spreading all over?

Why will a girl only can whisper about her periods and she can’t talk openly about it? Is this a huge secret matter to discuss just by whispering? Can’t it be a natural discussion as like as all other discussions? Why periods are impure? Questions are not enough to ask but no one have any answer for those questions.

Did you ever think that if periods are impure then your and my birth is also impure and we are those who are just destroying the natural beauty by spoiling it. When we talk about nature, it doesn’t mean that we are talking about the whole of natural balance, but it only means that we are talking about flora and fauna. Where the truth is, we never accepted this whole nature and that’s the only reason that we also should deny the fact of our existence which we think is to be natural.

Everyone knows scientific facts behind a child’s birth and the only reason of existence of human being is his/her mother’s periods, doesn’t it? Then also in many of the villages, even in huge cities, PERIODS is the biggest issue. During the menstruation cycles, girls are not allowed to go to kitchens and in temples. The question is WHY?

Each one of us knows all the facts about it then let us know some of ways by which we can spread the real means of awareness:

We have to talk about it very frankly without thinking much. Every girl should discuss about it very openly with each person whether it is boy or a girl. Every mother should tell her daughter about it while her upcoming age of maturity, no girl should feel shy while talking about it.

It is not that much big issue as we are making it. It’s just a normal thing that everyone should know after the age of maturity whether the person is a boy or a girl. Because nature doesn’t ask about gender, it only made a human either it be a girl or a boy.

This human being is made because of the natural process of periods in girls.

Let each girl feel safe and secure. Behave normally with her. Don’t make realize her that she is in her periods. Because, the pain she is facing is a natural pain but when we make her feel bad about her periods by saying it as impure then that pain will be much bigger than she thinks it to be.

It's not impure, it's about how much we are mature.

We all are humans then why people differentiate each other by their gender?

GIRLS

I heard a truth that when a girl wear shorts, the society and people judge her by her clothes.....

if she do makeup then no one thinks that makeup is also an art, but people will say that she wants to impress someone......but why she has the need to impress herself in front of others? 

Society always judge a girl by her outfit, her manner and attitude, her simplicity and her SATI SAVITRI types behavior, but they never think that girls also have the right to be independent, girls also have a right to live her life as she wants. Because of the fear of society her parents also restrict her to do so..... but the reality is society is no one to restrict her for doing anything. 

NOW, LETS TALK ABOUT HER SAFETY, Many parents have the fear that their daughter is not safe in today's world.......and their thinking and over cautiousness towards their daughter is absolutely valid. That's the reason that the parents and guardians of a female always restrict their daughter for not going out for late night, they don't allow her to wear shorts, they don't allow her for parties, they always says that don't wear makeup, they always says to make her social media account private and the conclusion is; girls start to think that their parents are snatching their freedom. Whereas, parents can never take her freedom.

BUT on the other hand,

DEAR PARENTS OF BOYS,  

         If parents also teach their son that they should also be protective and respective towards girls, then no girl will need to afraid from this society and world. Every parent of girl will feel that their daughter is safe outside the house also...... she will get the freedom and she also can enjoy her life without any restrictions by following her limits.

BOYS

       YES, I am not only talking about girls but I also feel that their is the need to become cautious for boys too.....

Here I am taking an example to make it clear that; why the cautiousness towards boys is also important: This is a worst fact of society that; if a girl slaps a boy then people will think that there is a mistake of boy only, that's why a girl is slapping him....... Even if a boy slaps a girl then also people will think that their is a mistake of boy only because he has no manners to treat a girl OR he don't know about the deeds OR they will blame his parents that they didn't teach him good manners. But no one sees that there can be the mistake of a girl also......but this is not about today only, it is the real fact which is carrying forward from generation to generation of society.

Why this society start to judge this or that person? Why it always restricts a girl's freedom? Why it always makes a wrong point of view towards a boy? Why it always says that if a person is not behaving good then it's his/her parents mistake? 

WHY IT ALWAYS DIFFERENTIATE THE RIGHTS AND FREEDOM FOR A MALE AND FEMALE?  

Ultimately everyone has the right to live their life as they want.....

We are No one to judge people by their manners and behavior.....

We have No right to differentiate them on the basis of their gender.....

So we can do only one thing that is to create understanding between each other.

STAY HAPPY, STAY CALM

NEVER JUDGE ANY ONE

BE PROTECTIVE TOWARDS EACH OTHER

GIVE FREEDOM TO EACH AND EVERYONE WHETHER IT IS A GIRL OR A BOY
